SongSweep ("the App") is developed by Sergej Nawalnew ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.

Data Processing

On-Device Only

All App data — including your swipe decisions, session history, and statistics — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework. No data is sent to any server, cloud service, or third party.

Apple Music Access

SongSweep uses Apple’s MusicKit framework to access your Apple Music library with your explicit permission. This access is used solely to:

• Display your songs for sorting
• Create and manage playlists in your library ("SongSweep — Sorted Out", "SongSweep — Restored")
• Set song ratings ("Suggest Less" / "Favorite") via the Apple Music API

All Apple Music operations happen directly between your device and Apple’s servers through Apple’s official APIs. We do not have access to your Apple Music credentials or listening history.

Apple Watch

If you use SongSweep on Apple Watch, data is synced between your iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple’s WatchConnectivity framework. This communication happens directly between your paired devices and does not pass through any external server.

Subscriptions

SongSweep offers optional in-app purchases managed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not process or store any payment information. All subscription management is handled by Apple. See Apple’s Privacy Policy for details on how Apple handles payment data.

UserDefaults

The App stores minimal preferences (such as theme selection, onboarding completion, and playlist identifiers) using Apple’s UserDefaults API. This data never leaves your device.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• No analytics or tracking
• No advertising identifiers
• No crash reports sent to us
• No usage telemetry
• No personal information
• No account creation required

Third-Party Services

SongSweep does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external communication is with Apple’s servers through official Apple frameworks (MusicKit, StoreKit).

Children’s Privacy

SongSweep does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
